Monthly Sodality Rosary
The Our Lady of Hope Sodality meets every third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. for Rosary and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
About Our Lady of Hope Sodality
Our Lady of Hope Sodality at Saint Anne’s Chapel is a pious association of women formed for the sanctification of its members and the greater glory of God, through devotion to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and to the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Under the gentle protection of Our Lady of Hope, members strive to live as faithful daughters of the Blessed Virgin, cultivating in their hearts the virtues of humility, purity, and charity, and laboring to bring the light of Christian hope into their homes and the life of the parish.
The Sodality seeks to promote true Christian charity—the love of God above all things and of our neighbor for His sake—and to foster in every member and in every household the spirit of genuine Christian family life, patterned upon that of the Holy Family of Nazareth.
For the sanctification of souls and the edification of the faithful, the members of the Sodality undertake:
- To spread devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mediatrix of all graces.
- To attend Holy Mass frequently, especially on the First Fridays and First Saturdays, in reparation to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
- To receive Holy Communion often, and to prepare for this grace with purity of heart and fervent love.
- To recite daily the Most Holy Rosary, and to assist at the monthly community Rosary in honor of Our Lady of Hope.
- To perform acts of Christian charity, both spiritual and corporal, for the glory of God and the relief of those in need.
- To render willing service to the parish whenever required, doing all things for the honor of Our Lord and His Blessed Mother.
