Catholic Formation

At Saint Anne’s Academy, Catholic formation is not an addition to education; it is its foundation. It informs our teaching, our discipline, and the daily routine of school life. We seek to form the whole person—mind, heart, and soul—so that students learn to judge all things in the light of faith.

Guided by the sound principles of Saint John Bosco, we strive to cultivate virtue through reason, religion, and kindness. His Preventive System, marked by clear expectations, genuine charity, and a spirit of cheerful discipline, provides an environment where young people can grow in responsibility and holiness.

With this purpose, Saint Anne’s Academy works to form young men and women of strong faith and upright character—prepared to build Catholic family life, serve the Church, and contribute to the restoration of Christian society.

Formation Through Reception of the Sacraments

Recognizing the immeasurable grace that flows from the Sacraments, Saint Anne’s Academy seeks to instill in its students, faculty, and staff a profound love and reverence for these instruments of grace.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered daily, and opportunities for the Sacrament of Penance are provided frequently, that all may grow in virtue and holiness.

In addition, students are encouraged to deepen their devotion to Our Lord truly present in the Holy Eucharist through visits to the Blessed Sacrament, times of Eucharistic Adoration, and Benediction.

Families and friends of Saint Anne’s are always most welcome to join us for the celebration of daily Mass. During the academic year, daily Mass at Saint Anne’s is ordinarily offered at 11:00 a.m.

Fostering Vocations

From its earliest days, Saint Anne’s Academy has been a place where young hearts learn to listen for the voice of God. Over the years, our school has been blessed with a noteworthy number of vocations to the religious life—young men and women who discovered, nourished, and embraced their call while studying within our classrooms, praying in our chapel, and growing in our community.

This is no accident. It is the result of a culture intentionally shaped around faith, virtue, and a deep love for God and the Church. Through daily prayer, frequent reception of the sacraments, strong catechetical instruction, and the good example of dedicated teachers and clergy, students are inspired to consider God’s will for their lives with openness and courage.

The presence of visiting clergy and religious, annual retreats, opportunities for spiritual direction, and a curriculum that integrates the Catholic faith into every subject all help cultivate the soil in which vocations can grow. Most importantly, the supportive example of families and parishioners reinforces the message that answering God’s call—whatever it may be—is a path to joy.

We give heartfelt thanks to God for the many vocations He has already raised up from Saint Anne’s, and we pray with confidence that He will continue to call many more in the years ahead. May our school always remain a place where children learn not only how to succeed in this world, but how to seek and follow the will of God for the next.
